Mission
Our mission is to train geographers equipped with the knowledge and skills to serve in all areas of the geography profession, who love their country and nation, can shed light on the problems of their nation, possess strong character, are endowed with an entrepreneurial culture, are adaptable, have high participation in classes and research, are adept at teamwork, have internalized ethical values, are sensitive to the problems and values of Turkey and the world, and have embraced the importance of lifelong learning.

Our department aims to educate highly qualified individuals who are committed to the customs and traditions of our country, think positively, are hardworking, use their knowledge and experience for the benefit of all humanity, are useful to society, productive, and represent their country throughout the world with the values they create.
